This image was taken above the clouds on top of a popular mountain in Hawaii. Planned just before sunsets and sunrises, tourist flood just below the peak, setting up picnics and waiting for the sun to appear or disappear in the clouds. In this particular image, my family is waiting for the sunset to occur. A beautiful spectacle is formed with the blends of warm colors, though it was pretty cold standing there, thanks to the height, breeze, and thin air.
While standing on top of the mountain, a sea of clouds surrounds you in all directions. Adding to the wonder of the image, imagine how fascinated we were when there was no rain until we had driven below the clouds on the swirling road. Since we were above the clouds, we had gone unknowing to the change of weather until we came back down.
This image is very powerful, because it is not everyday you get to be higher than clouds, unless you frequently ride in planes. Though, if you were in a plane, you would not be able to fully experience the sight.
I think that the image represents life because of the beauty it contains as well as the extent of how far you can get physically and mentally. Being up here, helped me clear my head (not just because of the thin air) of certain things and just enjoy something beautiful for exactly what it was. The sun is obviously the focal point of the image and takes part in resembling life as well, the way you have to look at it from different angles to get a different or better view and how you will never quite see it as clearly as you want to.
