T-Shirt Design Reflection
My t-shirt design contains a drawing of a bald man with a slight smile and gears in his head, with a rainbow filled with little drawings flowing out of his head, and a background of outer space. The outer space background represents the infinite abilities and powers of the human brain, the rainbow represents a colorful imagination found within everyone's thoughts and dreams, the little pictures and symbols represent success in the future of everyone's life, and the gears show that he is productively thinking. I chose to draw this picture because I was running tons of possible images through my mind and this was by far the best one I could think of, also because I wanted to do something deep with a meaning, not just drawings on a page. The colors I chose have meaning as well, for example the rainbow that is behind the little images is colored that way because you never want your river of imagination to run dry, you always want to have ideas of creativity and a rainbow just scream's creativity. The words in my picture are little confidence builders for the bumpy road of life. My process of coming up with a design was very simple because as I said earlier I ran all of my possible ideas through my head and chose the one that sounded like the best idea. Overall, my picture is not just drawings on a page, it has meaning and I'm not saying everything has to have meaning I just thought that for this project I wanted to make something that was more meaningful rather than just drawing something with no explanation. This was a good idea because with my idea of a meaningful picture, this paper was just that much simpler to write.
Life is Like Essay
Life is Viral
Life is like the Internet because you could do almost anything you want with both of them, they are available to the whole world, and there is symbolism you could establish in each. By this I mean that you could find symbols with the Internet that you could possibly compare to real life. However, the Internet and life are not even close to the same thing, in fact there are many differences as well. Differences are what help us define two similar things accurately. The differences between these two things can create a problem when finding the similarities, but the differences are just a covering, you have to dig deeper into the symbolism. The topics of life and the Internet are so vast in terms of finding things that are the same. Hopefully someone does not find the Internet to be exactly the same as life because I'll tell you now, it is not, life has so much more to offer whereas the internet is trying to virtually duplicate it, to create a world revolving around the Internet, and we are almost to that point. The Internet is creating a world where no one will ever have to get up to do anything ever again. Life wants you to enjoy yourself, before it is gone.
Deep within the original shell of life, under the common artificial ones is the structure of what holds it up and tells the story of how it came to be the way it is today. The same goes for the Internet, it was not always the way it is today, it has advanced overtime and developed as the world around it had done. The structure of the Internet mirrors life because those who created the Internet dreamed of it living up to become part of daily lives, and it has succeeded. Think about how many times a day you use your computer, phone, or tablet, how many of those times did you use the Internet available to it? Have you ever typed a website into the URL, have you ever thought that maybe when you search for something in the URL bar that it could symbolize you searching for your purpose in life? Perhaps the help button could symbolize the person that would support you and give you advice through your journey of new discoveries. Maybe even the person in your life that helped you discover what you wanted to become, what you wanted to do to help this world, could have been your web browser. Structure is a big part of discovering where you want to go, because it tells the history of how you came to be.
Have you ever run into a challenge during your lifetime, did you ever feel no one was on your side? Out of over six billion people in the world I'm sure there is one person that agrees with you, you probably will not even have to search that far. Life has infinite answers or solutions to your problems, as well as the Internet. You could rephrase your question a million times and each question gets hundreds, perhaps thousands, maybe even millions of different results or answers. In this case, the Internet allows you to reach out to people further away from you, to get brand new answers with different opinions or previously unknown facts, without spending too much money to get there,if not any. However, the Internet could never match the experience of actually going there for yourself, to see, smell, and hear the feelings of a foreign environment. Sometimes you cannot rush the process of trying to solve, you will have to take a break, almost like waiting for something to load. Have you ever been frustrated when trying to do something in life, have you ever felt you were in between a rock and a hard place? To relieve your strife you should take a break, it is amazing how one little break could allow you to gather all your broken pieces and pull yourself together again, to hold yourself together, awaiting for the gluing process.
Life is full of great experiences, the Internet tries to replicate these experiences, but it will never capture the thrill of the real thing. Feelings are a big part of the way you experience things because your feelings show how it personally affected you. Sometimes you show your feelings on the outside, this lets the people around you know how you felt or what you are feeling currently. There is also a way to show your feelings on the inside, to possibly understand more about yourself by thinking more about your personal problems, thoughts, or ideas. There is an endless library of different feelings, some of which have not been defined yet and some that have not even been discovered yet. The classic expressions or feelings are happiness, anger, sadness, and silliness. The reaction, feeling, or expression your mind chooses all depends on how sensitive you are, what happened to you, and if it was a good or bad time for this experience to occur. For example, you would feel happy if you won a game or if you helped someone in need of assistance. Sometimes there are more difficult feelings that are harder to explain, such as, confusion, accomplishment, and sometimes even anger could provide a problem.
Due to life's endlessness, you could find similarities nearly everywhere because life could be found anywhere on this planet and possibly on other planets. What is Life?, one of the biggest questions known to man, will probably never be answered. No amount of words could capture and enclose the entire reason for or definition of life. The endless powers and abilities of life are what make it such a complex topic. Answering the question of life is hard in my opinion because imagine trying to answer a question with only including the most important information, but the information you have is infinite, and it is all important...what do you do? How could you answer the question of life if not all the main information could be enclosed into one, two, or even three sets of words. When the answer is too big, no matter how much paraphrasing and short-cuts you take, it is time to rephrase the question, or perhaps move onto the next one.
